Inte oväntat och redan allmänt bekant så är Thailands PM Prayuth lite konservativ i sina åsikter. Senast drabbad är Thailands senaste stora "look thung" stjärna Lamyai:
"PRIME MINISTER Prayut Chan-o-cha on Monday has asked the public and media to warn a teenage “look thung” singer about her suggestive dance moves and scanty outfits.
When asked if he would instruct the Culture Ministry to caution the young rising star, Prayut said: “I want people and the media to warn her. I don’t know what to do. People like this style of performance and dressing.”
He was commenting on a controversy surrounding singer Lamyai Haithongkham’s twerking that involves nine consecutive “air banging” moves. "
Critics have said the 18-year-old singer’s dance moves and scanty outfits were unsuitable to Thai culture.

Hans uttalande har nu fått sångerskans manager att lova mindre sexiga kläder i fortsättningen, samt att minska antalet juck från 9 till 3.. per gång.. (!). Då blev han glad, och har idag tackat Lamyai för sin förståelse.
"Government Spokesman Maj-General Sansern Kaewkamnerd said Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha thanked teenage singer Lamyai and her supporters for their understanding over his desire to improve the singer's image following his criticism of her seductive dancing.
Sansern said Lamyai should be better behaved so as to set a good example for youngsters.
He said serious crimes including rape resulted from such seductive behaviour and the problem should be tackled at the root cause.
"Thailand is rich of culture and by saying it’s popular everywhere is not a good excuse,” he said."
