Ruangkrai asked the Election Commission (EC) to check whether Jurin had violated local election law that could result in the dissolution of the Democrat Party while he was taking the rally stage at Benjasiri Park to help the Democrat candidate. Ruangkrai quoted Jurin as saying "the second group will not vote for the Pheu Thai because they will not choose a party which set the country ablaze".

.my ass.
Hej
Bangkok governor-elect Sukhumbhand Paribatra said Thursday that a Department of Special Investigation (DSI) investigation into alleged illegal Democrat Party donations under the Political Parties Act was misguided.

After hearing the charge from Pol Col Nirund Adulyasak, chief of the DSI's Bureau of Special Crime, MR Sukhumbhand insisted he and other Democrats involved had not violated the law. He said the DSI's charges were wrong, and the case could interfere with the work of the Election Commission.
He said that every deduction from his pay was reported to the Election Commission, which never raised the possibility the donations were illegal.
MR Sukhumbhand, Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva and 46 other Democrat MPs face the same charge of making illegal, political donations.
Section 57 of the Political Parties Act stipulates that any donation to a political party exceeding 20,000 baht must be made by a crossed cheque or bill of exchange. MR Sukhumbhand said all donations involved in the DSI investigation were under the 20,000-baht threshold.
Mr Abhisit, MR Sukhumbhand and the 46 Democrat MPs had made donations to their party by having the money deducted from their salary accounts, he said.
MR Sukhumbhand declined to comment on the delay in the endorsement of his victory in the March 3 Bangkok gubernatorial election, saying that he would rather leave it to the EC to decide this matter. The EC must approve his election or disqualify him via yellow card by April 2.
