even if the People Power Party is dissolved by the Constitution Court tomorrow,

it will continue its rally at the Don Muang and Suvarnabhumi airport sites

To prioritise the security of its protesters, The People's Alliance for Democracy has decided to close the Government House rally site at night and ask all of its members to spend the night at the rally sites at Suvarnabhumi Airport or Don Muang Airport. It has promised to return Government House to the authorities within three to four days and says it will continue its rally even if the People Power Party is dissolved.

Today at noon, People's Alliance for Democracy or PAD core leader Chamlong Srimuang announced the decision to close the Government House rally site at night and to have all protesters who are spending the night relocate themselves and their belongings to either the Suvarnabhumi or Don Muang Airports.

Speeches and activities at Government House will still continue, but protesters will no longer be allowed to spend the night there.

Buses and vehicles are being provided for the protesters at the Royal Turf Club to move to the other two PAD rally sites.

Dhamma Army coordinator Samdin Lertbutr said the focus would be for protesters to move to Suvarnabhumi Airport as the Government House rally site is no longer deemed safe following night after night of violent attacks and explosions.

The PAD has promised to return Government House to the authorities in three to four days. It added that even if the People Power Party is dissolved by the Constitution Court tomorrow, it will continue its rally at the Don Muang and Suvarnabhumi airport sites. The PAD also apologized to the media for any threats or intimidation against it.

This morning, Don Muang Police Station Commander Colonel Narongrit Promsawad led officials to inspect the entrance ramp to the passenger terminal of Don Muang Airport, where gunshots were heard late last night.

The police collected bullet shells to examine further, but initially said that they were probably fired from a hand gun.

Last night saw the first round of joint patrols between the police and the PAD volunteer guards. Colonel Narongrit said it went well and the police and PAD volunteer guards divided up the areas to be patrolled. However, security will still have to be stepped up to prevent further violence.

The PAD rally at Don Muang has so far been fairly uneventful with staged speeches interspersed by music. Protesters are readying themselves for possible mobile rallies to other areas after yesterday's rallies moved to the residence of Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat and Interior Minister Kowit Watana.

Jag träffade en Thaivän ikväll som talade om vad som kommer att hända med regeringssituationen o flygkaoset-Trot om ni vill men den 5 vet vi...så motbevisa innan om ni vill nu-efteråt så vet vi redan-eller hur.Jag litar på detta men vet självklart den 5-e.

Han talade om att regeringen kommer att avgå senast den 4-e Dec men troligtvis imorgon pga domstolsbeslutet och att det bildas en tillfällig regering innan nya val kan hållas

Kungens födelsedag den 5.e kommer att bli lugn o flygen kommer igång sakta men säkert då det tar tid att ordna med säkerheten på flygplatserna.

Ja det låter ju hoppfullt. Det enda logiska som kan hända nu.

Men ingenting har ju varit speciellt logiskt hittils så det är väl bara hoppas på det bästa.

Även jag var säker på att så skulle bli fallet tills jag läste uttalandet .

      Därför att PAD ville sätta press på konstitutionsdomstolen samt få internationell uppmärksamhet.

Samt stoppa PPP:s nya konstitutionsförslag som skulle innebära immunitet för Thaksin m.fl.

Vi får verkligen hoppas att uttalandet bara är desinformation till motståndarna och att de lämnar tillbaka flygplatserna och avbryter den aggressiva verksamheten snarast efter domen (oavsett utfall). Om PAD inte gör det eller om PPP inte rättar sig efter en eventuell fällande dom inom de närmaste dygnen lär kungen med militären ingripa. Min gissning är att det i så fall kommer att ske senast på onsdag kväll för att det ska bli en mysig och trevlig födelsedag.

PAD och deras supporters vill ha makten. Om PPP löses upp och PPP fogar sig i detta kommer "Demokraterna" ändå inte ha makten. Det krävs en ny militärkupp och ny konstitution som i princip omyndigförklarar folket (antingen att röster från fattigare delar in räknas lika mycket eller där kungen/militären styr helt utan parlament). En bättre lösning är att minska kungens och militärens makt och göra om monarkin till demokratisk republik eller något liknande Sverige där monarken bara är en galjonsfigur (vilket han redan är i Thailand men frågan är om ny kung bara kommer att vara detta).

PAD har hittills försökt med allt för att få till en militärkupp men detta har hittills undvikits. Om UDD gör fler dumma saker finns risk att en militärkupp ändå blir till.

Vad händer om samtliga regeringspartier upplöses och det inte blir tillräkligt många MP:s kvar att bilda regering? Nyval krävs men vem styr under tiden? Militären? Kungen? Minoritetspartier som stödjer PAD? Vad händer om nya "TRT/PPP" vinner valet igen (vilket med stor sannolikhet kommer att hända om inte konstitutionen skrivs om så att den inte längre räknar röster demokratiskt)? 

PS. Hur många har spelat Civilisation? Vad händer ett tag direkt närman vill byta styrelseskick? Anarki...

The People's Alliance for Democracy has cheered and clapped wildly after the Constitution Court had ruled this morning to disband the People Power party. The leaders are scheduled to meet tonight to discuss the PAD's next move.

The People's Alliance for Democracy protesters are to remain at Don Muang and Suvarnabhumi airports even after the court has ruled to disband the People Power party. The PAD hosts have told the protesters that their fight isn't over even after the brief victory this morning.

The next step is for the MPs to convene to nominate a new premier. With most People Power party MPs escaping the political ban, they will most likely vote for another People Power party sponsored candidate. Some of the names which could be nominated to replace former PM Somchai Wongsawat are Chalerm Yoobamrung and Mingkwan Saengsuwan.

People's Alliance for Democracy leader Somsak Kosaisuk on Tuesday vowed to continue rallying at Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports and demanded the departure of the entire Cabinet.

Following the verdict on party disbandment, Somsak said the PAD would not allow the Cabinet to work in the caretaker capacity until the formation of the next government.

He said every minister must depart along with Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat.

Of 36 Cabinet members, 22 are not affected by the party disbandment and can carry on in the caretaker administration.
