Skottlossning på night market i Udon Thani.

My girlfriend works at the market and was about 5 metres away when it happened. It happened about 21:30 hrs, Saturday 17 May. It was at the back of a soya milk stall at Preecha Market. The following info is a combination of what my girlfriend saw and information collected from others who also witnessed this.

A man and a woman aged 20 something were having dinner. While they were having dinner, the woman's mobile phone rang and the guy tried to take her phone. An argument then erupted between the man and the woman at which point the man put a gun to her head and twice tried to shoot her but nothing happened. The woman started to run away and the man fired again, this time fatally.

The woman was a regular visitor to this market. As far as we know, the guy has not been caught. I am more than willing to donate some money to help catch this guy or to help get some cameras installed there. Is anyone else    Mvh Isan Lover

Puckon finns överallt, även Du skulle bli förvånad över hur många unga "modiga" män som är beväpnade i Issan! Har sett ett flertal på byfester med, alltså inte bara i den stora staden.

Just därför är jag mer orolig över våld och kriminalitet i Isaan än i Pattaya.

Det finns ju lögn, förbannad lögn och statistik.

Själv föredrar jag egen uppfattning och stannar nog i alla fall utanför det statistiskt nerskrivna Pattaya, man kan ju riskera att träffa medlemmar där och då kan det ju barka åt h-vete så elaka som dom är mot varandra.
