"Nok Mini plans to add more flights to more provinces in the future while Nok Air will launch the Chiang Mai-Udon Thani route on January 17, 2010 with 33 new SAAB airplanes with an increased passenger capacity.

“The new flight will enable the transportation of tourists from Luang Prabang to Nan and to Chiang Mai and support the establishment of Chiang Mai as tourism hub of the northern region,” according to Sobtana Anprasert, Deputy Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Chiang Mai Office.

Detta var intressant. Nu väntar jag bara på flyglinje Chiang Mai till Ubon Ratchathani så vi smidigare kan besöka fru Changs släkt.

La inte SAAB ner tillverkningen av sina civila flygplan för en del år sedan ?

Hur kan dom då ha 33 "nya" flygplan ??

Nok Mini (d.v.s. SGA Airlines) lär ha 2 SAAB 340 på gång. Möjligen nya för SGA Airlines, men knappast nya i någon annan bemärkelse eftersom SAAB inte har byggt några 340 sen 1999.
