kan inte låta bli att delge lite erfarenheter av thai logic...
Jag skeppade valda delar av hushållet för en tid sen, från Sverige till Thailand. Igår kom beskedet att båten anländer Thailand på fredag och att jag måste lämna in pass och arbetstillstånd till fraktfirman för att kunna hantera tullmyndigheten. Sagt och gjort, nämnda dokument är nu inlämnade till agenten. Denne skickade sedan följande information:
Please note :
• Prohibited articles include firearms, ammunition, pornographic literature, short-wave radios, medical equipment, gold and silver.
• For all inbound shipments (except diplomatic) we must have clients actual passport for clearance.
• With all documentation in order, clearance typically takes 3-5 working days.
• Client does not need to be personally physically present at clearance.
• We suggest always to contact AP in advance if in any doubt and to fax us a copy of packing list should owner/agent wish to have any possible problem items determined/assessed.
• Any costs incurred as a result of delays in provision of original passport will be for account of the shipper.
• Bear in mind that in Thailand almost all eventualities can be negotiated and therefore your customer should not worry too excessively so long as AP is communicated with well in advance of shipment arrival so suitable preparations can be made to avoid surprises.
Med andra ord, allt är förhandlingsbart, det är endast en fråga om vad det kostar och vem som godkänner och tar emot stålarna!
