Verkligen? De ovriga 74 utses av den s:k Senate selection committee

Selection

The remaining 74 members are to be selected by a Senators Selection Committee. The Committee is established in Section 113, Part 3 and Chapter 6 of the Constitution. The Committee is composed of:

President of the Constitutional Court

Chairman of the Election Commission

Chairman of the State Audit Commission

A Judge in the Supreme Court of Justice holding office not lower in rank than Judge of the Supreme Court of Justice as entrusted by the general assembly of the Supreme Court of Justice.

A Judge of the Supreme Administrative Court as entrusted by the general assembly of judges of the Supreme Administrative Court.

Within themselves they must elect a Chairman who will preside over the committee. The Committee will select members of the Senate based on 5 categories of profession:

1.The Academic Sector

2.The Public Sector

3.The Private Sector

4.The Professional Sector

5.And Others

The Constitution states that:

“In the selection of persons [for the Senate], particular regard shall be had to the knowledge, expertise or experience beneficial to the performance of duties of senators, and regard shall also be had to factors in relation to persons with varying knowledge and capability in varying fields, sexual opportunities and equality, a close proportion of persons in each sector…, and the provision of opportunities to the socially underprivileged persons”

Thailand har 75 provinser enligt wiki. Bangkok räknas inte som egen provins, men administreras som sådan. Så, 75 + 75?

Hej

För mig är det fullständigt självklart att Aung San Suu Kyi är emot militärens inblandning i den Thailändska politiken,

konstitutioner skrivna av militären och att hon föredrar folkvalda ledare.

Hon om någon har ju erfarenhet av militärt styre och vet vad det innebär.

Men ett stort tack ska hon ha för att hon ställer upp för sina Thailändska vänner.

Och jag önskar henne lycka till i sin kamp och hoppas på en civil regering även i Burma snarast möjligt.

Men varför vägrar då PTP att vara med och ändra konstitutionen?

Sedan Januari/Februari 2009 har de haft en stående inbjudan från regeringen att medverka vid konstitutionsförändringarna, men vägrat eftersom de inte vill att andra än PTP ska ha något att säga till om. Demokrati?

Sådärja... nu har man föreslagit Abhisit en tillfällig samlingsregering.

Abhisit skrev så här på sin facebooksida:

"The key is not whether we should dissolve the house in 30 days, three months or six months. The question is, if we want to create reconciliation in the country, what should we do? We need to listen to all parties.”

Så här svarade jag.

May I suggest a Temporary National Assembly Government until the constitution is rewritten?

That way UDD/PT couldn't request dissolution of Parliament and all parties would have to unite to fix the current situation.

Any party not participating would loose, loose face and portray themselves as not wanting to be a part of a national solution supported by the people.

And could not claim undemocratic means.

National Assembly governments are common in the west during national crisis.

Maybe it could work in Thailand too?

Sedan Januari/Februari 2009 har de haft en stående inbjudan från regeringen att medverka vid konstitutionsförändringarna, men vägrat eftersom de inte vill att andra än PTP ska ha något att säga till om. Demokrati?

Bifogar dom sex principerna som visar vad UDD står för och vill uppnå.

Det verkar inte som om alla känner till det.

Det vore kul med några synpunkter på dessa.

Själv tycker jag att dom är bra.

Den där metoden används i synnerligen hemska sammanhang som Hamas, PLO mfl. Nästa steg är att använda sjukhus som avskjutningsramper för raketer (kanske därför M79-granaterna påstås komma från sjukhuset nära Lumpini park)

De röda visar mer och mer vilket patrask till ledare dom har.
